Hi-Tec supplied and commissioned an upgraded Siemens CNC system for a turning lathe at SADIP.
Challenge / Project Requirement
The turning lathe was equipped with an older Siemens SINUMERIK 820T system.
Solution and Technical Scope
The project supplied and commissioned Siemens SINUMERIK 840D sl with SIMODRIVE 611 for the lathe.
Project Outcome
The work replaced the legacy CNC control with a newer documented control-and-drive configuration. No numerical performance outcomes were included in the reference.
